Recovery centres to remain open

THE three flood Recovery Centres, which are operating seven days a week, will remain open throughout the Easter weekend.

Each one will be staffed from 8am - 6pm every day including Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.

The Primary Flood Recovery Centre is located at:

25, Gordon Street, Coffs Harbour. Two further Recovery Centres are also available at: 2/15, Bowra Street, Urunga, and Bellingen Shire Council Chambers.

Each centre has representatives of key welfare, business and insurance agencies on hand, or via referral from the sites, to give help, advice and information to residents and business people affected by the flooding.

DoCS can also be contacted directly on 1800 018 444.

The Insurance Council of Australia is also running a Hotline for people with queries on insurance issues. The number is 1300 728 228.
