RECAP: The Bachelorette S2E9 - bachelor boy band

WE'RE getting to the pointy end of the stick now, and as the guys sit around a table chilling out, they seem very aware of that fact.

Lee and Jake are all stressing out before Osher comes in wearing some hideous coat thing and he announces Georgia will take only four of them on the home town visits.

No pressure or anything.

He's got another date card and hopefully it'll be Lee or Jake so we can put them out of their misery.

Its Lee's turn now and poor Jake looks absolutely devastated. Like you can watch his heart breaking.

Georgia says she invited Lee on this date and it's a make or break situation. Well, that's a bit harsh.

She meets him on a romantic looking pier and she confesses her love about movies.

So it's going to be a date reminiscent of her favourite movies.

She's worried that he doesn't "really like" her or not. Gosh, she sounds like a lovesick teenager.

First movie theme is Dirty Dancing and they're going to live out her dream and recreate the lift from that dance.

This could either go really well or really bad. Ohhh, she's brought an expert.

All they need to know really is how to jump and how to lift. It can't be that hard right?

Lee says there's more at stake there than "putting Georgia over my head".

Pressure's on Lee. Don't drop her!

Oh and he nails it. Like perfectly nails it. That looks easy. Bet I can do that.

And then they're kissing. Aw, well, if there's any time to kiss it's definitely now.

Now it's serious talk time. Here comes the wine again. That's the staple in all of these serious talks.

She's wondering whether he's into her because apparently he doesn't come and talk to her at cocktail parties.

Really? I'm sure he's stolen her away before.

Ohhhh, he's got his sexy specs on and confesses that she's nervous and her face doesn't look like she's impressed at all.

She's basically telling him that that's not good enough and he needs to be less reserved.

He starts gushing compliments at her left, right and centre and then they kiss again.

I think that's all you need to know Georgia, he wouldn't kiss you if he didn't want you.

 

Now it's time for the last group date. Better make it a goody. 

They're in a music studio. It's the oldest recording studio in the southern hemisphere. Apparently they're forming the newest Australian boy band.

The song a few weeks ago has given her an idea and she wants them to write a song and record it.

Oh good I thought they said Jay Z for a second. Well that was jaw-droppingly disappointing.

I suppose Jay Z isn't really in the Bachelorette's budget.

So my precious Mr May gets to work with Georgia and looks absolutely terrified. As usual, the guy who impresses her the most gets to spend some alone time with her.

Mr May is getting all excited because he's breaking all his rules he had before coming into the house.

Awwww, he's adorable.

Georgia comes to check on the first-versers Lee and Courtney. God I bloody hate Courtney. Every time he comes on the screen I get so annoyed.

They've only written one line. Tsk tsk boys.

Next Jake and Matty J. They've got a few more lines and Georgia laughs. Poor Matty is sad she laughed.

It's totally gangsta.

Now it's recording time. Man I feel like this isn't going to end well. My ears are totally bleeding but it's kinda catchy.

Seems like Matty's ears are bleeding too.

God they all sound terrible why are they making them do this?!

All the other guys get jealous of Georgia and Mr May.

At least Matty is making this entertaining. And rapping.

Oh Jakeeeeeee. That was bad.

Jay C says that's amazing. LIES, LIES ALL LIES.

Well at least they sound better as a group.

Now it's mixed it sounds heaps better. Good job Jay C. It's kinda catchy.

 

Jake gets the alone time. I feel like she's just doing it to take pity on him though.

They're going to the Marquee. Coz they're superstars like Justin Beiber and Miley Cyrus.

She's all very direct tonight. She's getting straight to the point.

He wants to know if she wants him to fight for her. OF COURSE SHE DOES YOU IDIOT. THIS IS DO OR DIE, JAKE.

But now she's all nervous because she's got a big decision to make.

And there's the kiss.

Oh god and now she's crying.

 

Beer party time and Lee confesses he didn't end it with a rose.

Enter Georgia.

Let's see how awkward this party can get now she's getting all direct and blunt.

Matty J gets the first chat. They talk about fears and blah blah blah it's boring.

Mr May is next. They talk about stress and what's all on the line. Blah blah. Come on get to the bit where you're going to rage at Courtney like we saw before the ad break please.

 

OH YES IT'S COURTNEY'S TIME.

Crush him Georgia, crush him.

Damnit Courtney, stop saying that because if you end up winning this show it's all going to end in tears. That's my prediction.

Oh here it is - she doesn't want him to think about anyone else but her but he says it's hard not to think about everyone else when she has connections with them too.

He's jealous.

She doesn't look real impressed that he's worrying about the other guys.

 

Rose ceremony time. This is going to be the most awkward rose ceremony of the lot.

Lee's safe. Matty too. Now just call Mr May and I'll be a happy lady.

Oh this is making me anxious.

Oh she calls Jake.

GEORGIA MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION NOW.

DON'T YOU DARE SEND MR MAY HOME. If you do this show is over for me right now.

OH MY GOD WHY DID SHE DO THAT.

That is so not cool Georgia. Not cool at all.
