Rabbitohs unleash the big guns

SOUTH Sydney have named new recruits Rhys Wesser and Colin Best for their trial match to be played at BCU International Stadium tomorrow night.

Forward Garret Crossman who also made his way to Redfern over the summer has been named on the bench as part of a sizable pack that includes Scott Geddes, Jaiman Lowe and Luke Stuart, who has been named as captain for the evening.

The Rabbitohs will go into the clash against Penrith as warm favourites after coach Jason Taylor named a strong squad for the encounter including the club's number one halves pairing of John Sutton and Chris Sandow as well as internationals Isaac Luke and David Kidwell.

The club has been enjoying the surrounds at Novotel Pacific Bay Resort this week during their second Coffs Harbour camp of the summer and the Rabbitohs will make their final preparations for the trial match this morning with an open training session at BCU International Stadium starting at 8.30am.
