RAAF unveils Vets plaque

THE Royal Australian Air Force Association will unveil and dedicate a plaque to honour and commemorate personnel who served in Vietnam from 1964

to 1975 later this month.

And all former serving personnel from that era are invited to attend.

The service will be held at the Australian Flying Corps Memorial, at RAAF Williams, at Point Cook in Victoria, on Sunday, March 28, and veterans living on the Coffs Coast are also invited to attend.

The dedication service will be followed by an informal luncheon to celebrate the 89th anniversary of the formation of the RAAF.

The luncheon will be at no cost to former members of the RAAF and, in particular, all RAAF Vietnam veterans.

For more information on the event, contact Barbara Stallard (03) 9813 4600 or raafavic@raafavic.org.au
