QPR boss lavishes praise on Socceroos star Luongo

QUEENS Park Rangers manager Ian Holloway says the sky's the limit for Massimo Luongo after the Socceroos midfielder starred in his team's 2-2 Championship draw with Millwall.

The home team struggled to break down a 10-man Millwall despite Luongo dominating the game.

The midfielder's class told as his volley drew the home team level at 1-1.

Millwall took the lead again before Matt Smith levelled to share the points.

Holloway lavished praise on the Australian international's display.

"That's the icing on the cake," he said of the goal.

"If he starts doing that then, wow, what a player we've got on our hands.

"The kid's getting better and better.

"I'm delighted for him. If there's a better midfielder in the league at the moment then I'd like to see him."

If QPR's draw was pulsating, Aston Villa's was anything but as Mile Jedinak made his first start for the season.

The Socceroos skipper only lasted 45 minutes as Villa played out a 0-0 draw with Middlesbrough, who were down to 10-men after Adama Traore was sent off in the 4th minute.
