Pushing on for charity at fifth annual Tour de Bay
PEDAL power ruled the Bay on Sunday, when the fifth annual Hervey Bay Community Bank Tour de Bay Charity Bike Ride pushed off.
Presented by the Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre and Rotary Sunrise, the event is thought to have raised thousands of dollars to support families and young people in the region through the Hervey Bay Youth Mentoring Program.
The competition began at 6.30am, with riders taking part in the 64km hill challenge, the 46km ride and 25km ride plus an easy 10km ride for beginners.
