Letter to the Editor - October 11: Proud of our farming folk

READING the letters on all the negativity on the blueberry farming, I totally support Raj Singh's point of view.

Yes, Coffs has its issues just like any other town, but my goodness, it has so much to be positive about.

Some people are content not to look at the bigger picture.

Beautiful beaches, lots of sea life and a hard-working farming community.

Farming is a love and passion for those who do undertake this career and it is such a privledge to enjoy watching others enjoy the produce.

As a past farmer of both beef and dairy, I understand the passion, and yes, hard work and it is not fair to critize or judge what we do not understand, so to all you local farmers out in our local community.

Good on ya, mate.
