Professionals handle tax headaches
TAX returns? Why waste your time worrying about it when you can get a professional to take care of the hassle.
That seems to be the view of most people in the community, and it is certainly held by Clint Szulhinski and John Senior, who just can't see the point in doing their own tax returns.
“It's too hard (to do your own tax return),” Mr Szulhinski said.
I'm not very good with computers either. I just get the receipts together and go and see the accountant, and that's what you're paying for.
“My returns have been pretty good.”
He pays $150 for the service.
Mr Senior said he had a dud accountant in the past, who lacked organisation. He shifted to a different accountant last year and the benefits convinced him to use them again.
