Prepare yourself for the ultimate jam
MUSIC will be heard throughout Woolgoolga as a public jam session hits Woolgoolga's Seaview Tavern.
Uncle Tom's Jam is an annual event, bringing forward an opportunity for relatives, friends and music lovers to come together to remember the lives of past local musicians.
Event organiser Ian Foskett said: "The session was inspired by a friend and Jampact Jam Session partner, the late, great, Mr Tom Kelly, who passed away in 2010.
"Tom was an inspiration to and encouraged many younger community members to play music and perform on stage."
The session will also remember Dave Mason, Keith Jenner (Fish), Dave Amster (Dr. Sax), James Dempsey, Clayton Dillion, Henry Groenendyk, Steve (Concrete) Currie, Tony McKimm and Robert Hancock (Hank).
Full production and instruments will be supplied on stage with a chalkboard for musicians to claim a time bracket and play on the night as well as $50 meal vouchers and a guest performance by Grafton outfit, High Abilities.
Starting at 7pm, Uncle Tom's Jam will be held downstairs at the Seaview Tavern on Saturday, December 10.
