A TEENAGER and two seasoned politicians currently form the eclectic mix of candidates set to battle for the seat of Page at the upcoming election.

Greens candidate Kudra Falla-Ricketts, Member for Page Kevin Hogan of the National Party and Labor candidate Janelle Saffin are gearing to ignite the campaign engine amid talks of a July 2 Federal election.

The campaign engine has already started in the Labor camp, with Ms Saffin planning to promote key policy change across the southern section of the electorate.

"Me and my team are campaigning now. We're planning to doorknock around Woolgoolga and the Northern Beaches after our recent visit and will not be a stranger in coming weeks."

Following the re-drawing of the electoral boundaries earlier this year, the electorate now encompasses towns north and to the west of an unnamed creek near Aqualuna Beach Resort at Sapphire Beach.

Coffs Harbour City councillor John Arkan is still undecided whether he will run as an independent candidate for Cowper or Page.
