POLICE used capsicum spray to subdue a man in Coffs Harbour's CBD early yesterday.

Police saw a woman, 19, throw a bottle onto the road as she crossed Grafton Street at 3.05am.

Her partner, 19, tried to stop police speaking to her and was told to go away.
