Police uncover clan lab and weapons inside industrial shed
A MAN was charged after a search warrant was executed at an industrial unit in Coffs Harbour today.
Coffs Clarence officers executed the warrant in Forge Dr, North Boambee Valley, about 6am today.
Local police, assisted by specialist officers, located and seized a number of items, including prohibited weapons, ammunition and cannabis.
Police said a clandestine drug laboratory was also allegedly uncovered.
A 40-year-old man was arrested and taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station where he was charged with three counts of possess prohibited weapon; possess unauthorised firearm and two counts of manufacture a prohibited weapon; break enter and steal; and goods in custody.
He's been bail refused to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court on Saturday.
A crime scene remains in place at the unit which will continue to be forensically examined tomorrow.
