Police shut down a Coffs hotel

A COFFS Harbour pub has been shut down for 72 hours amid allegations of the supply of drugs within the estalishment.

About 2.30am yesterday morning Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command police officers and several specialist police units executed a search warrant at the licensed premises in Grafton Street, Coffs Harbour.

The closure notice was issued after extensive police investigations have uncovered information relating to the alleged supply of drugs from within the premises.

All trading at the hotel ceased at 2.45am yesterday morning.

At 4pm yesterday, The Coast Hotel and Coffs Hotel were open for business. The Plantation Hotel was not.
