Police seek road rage aggressor

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a motor vehicle collision and road rage assault at Nambucca Heads last weekend.

About 10.45am on Saturday, a white Ford Focus and a white Toyota Landcruiser that was towing a boat collided on the Pacific Hwy at Nambucca Heads.

The male driver of the Landcruiser refused to exchange details with the driver of the Focus and assaulted him while he tried to record the Landcruiser's registration.

His sunglasses were removed and damaged during the assault.

The Queensland registered Landcruiser then left the scene without exchanging details.

The driver of the Focus was uninjured.

Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for any person that may have witnessed the incident to contact Nambucca Heads Police on 6598 5399.
