Police release images of men involved in business ram raid

POLICE have released images of two men wearing high vis clothing who allegedly used a car to drive through a timber barrier at a Holts Road business to steal a number of high ticket items.

The white ute which was used to steal a chainsaw; electric lawnmower, leaf blower; vacuum cleaner; steam cleaner; and a vacuum mop does not have correct plates according to the police who encourage anyone with information about the car to contact police.

The false registration plate attached to the car is (182 XNQ).

A Queensland Police statement said during the theft - which happened on Sunday, July 1 - one man allegedly obtained the items using a flat bed trolley and then placed them in the car while the second man remained in the car and drove it from the business.

The men who had not paid for these items drove the car straight through a timber barrier meant to prevent their exit from the business car park.

Police wish to speak to the two men in the images as it is believed they can assist with the investigation.

Contact Crime Stoppers with any information that may assist police, on 1800 333 000.
