Police on lookout after Corindi Beach child approach

FOR two young boys, an innocent ride to school this morning at Corindi Beach sadly turned into something more sinister.

At about 8.30am, two boys aged 8 and 9 were riding their bikes along Matthews Pde when a white Holden Commodore sedan stopped next to them.

There was a male driver and female passenger.

The female passenger described as having purple hair highlights, in her 20's and having a medium build has approached the children.

She has asked them to get into the car and said she would take them to school.

The children left the location and attended school where teachers were informed.

If you have any information about this incident please contact Woolgoolga or Coffs Harbour Police.
