Police issue drink-driving charges

A MAN, 57, will face court next month for alleged drink-driving.

Coffs Harbour highway patrol police stopped the man on Lyons Road at Sawtell at 8.35pm on Friday.

He was arrested after a positive test, and a subsequent breath analysis returned a low-range reading of .060.

  • A Coffs Harbour man, 34, will face court for alleged low-range drink-driving.

Police breath-tested the man on Harbour Drive at 1.25am yesterday. A subsequent breath analysis returned a reading of .070.

  • A Coffs Harbour man, 32, was charged with low-range drink-driving early yesterday.

Police breath-tested the man after he drove the wrong way in Cox Lane in Coffs Harbour at 2.55am.

A subsequent breath analysis returned a reading of .075.

  • A Subaru driver will face court on April 6 for alleged low-range drink-driving.

The driver was arrested after a positive reading and was taken to Woolgoolga Police Station for a breath analysis.

  • A Woolgoolga man, 40, will appear in court on April 6 for allegedly driving with a high-range alcohol reading and being a disqualified driver in Woolgoolga's High Street.
  • A Woolgoolga man, 22, who allegedly tried to evade a random breath test will face court on April 6 for allegedly being an unlicensed driver.
