16-years-old, 20 weeks pregnant and allegedly murdered

POLICE are conducting a major search in the Ipswich area for the body of a Logan teenager they allege was murdered by 60 year old Rodney Wayne Williams.

On Friday night police released new information as they ask the public for help.

Superintendant David Hutchinson of the Logan Police said Tiffany Taylor was last seen leaving the Waterford West Hotel on July 12 at 11:45.

Police have been able to determine that Taylor was leaving to meet Williams, with whom she had established contact through an online dating service.

Tiffany's sister Chloe says the teen was 20 weeks pregnant at the time.

Police are urgently appealing to anyone who may have seen Tiffany or Williams on July 12 or the champagne-coloured Hyundai with mottled paint on the roof which Williams drove, to come forward as it may assist police in locating her body.
