Emma's father Ken Gover said in the cold, wind and rain of last Thursday night she simply walked out of the house and was not seen again.

"She had nothing with her except the clothes on her back, I've got no idea where she is," he said.

"She'd often walk from my place to the service station to get something at the shops."

"We're all very concerned. She left her car behind, with her car keys and all her personal effects still in the house."

He said Ms Gover had friends in Brisbane and Melbourne, and he had been in contact with everyone he could think of.

"We get on very well and normally at night we'd be cooking dinner, having a cup of tea and talking about how each other's day was."

"Everyone knows to keep an eye out but we're just not sure where she is. We're all very worried."

Ms Gover was working part-time at the Northpoint Coffee Club before her disappearance.

Mr Gover is a Toowoomba dentist and the Greens candidate for the Toowoomba South by-election.

She was last seen wearing a thick grey cardigan with black knee-length tights, brown boots and a scarf.
