Police act on complaints of illegal Gleniffer rave party

A POLICE operation was launched overnight following complaints about an illegal rave party near Gleniffer.

Nearby residents complained of doof doof noise interrupting their sleep and alleged that under-age children were consuming drugs and illicit substances.

Several drivers were later breath tested on the road back to Coffs Harbour and charged with drink drive offences.

There was a report at least one person was detained and taken in a confused state to Coffs Harbour Health Campus for blood and urine tests.

It's also believed an arrest was made of a person wanted for allegedly conducting illegal rave parties in the New England area.
