ARE you a Pokemon GO fan out to catch them all on the Coffs Coast?

Players of the popular mobile app are invited to join in team walk in Coffs Harbour on Sunday.

Local trainers will meet at Good Games on Harbour Dr at 12pm before splitting into the three teams, Mystic, Valor and Instinct, to catch and battle Pokemon.

A leader has been allocated to guide each of the three teams around key locations such as the Botanic Garden and the Harbour Dr mall.

If you haven't chosen a team in the game yet, don't worry says organiser Sam Stanford. He said a special group will be established for local trainers beginning their Pokemon journey.

Prizes are up for grabs for the top three trainers and team with the strongest Pokemon.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a $2 for chips, a drink and face paint.

Pokemon GO launched about two weeks ago and is already is taking the world by storm. The app brings the 90s video game into the real world using mobile technology.
