Pocket rocket scores PB

PINT-sized rocket Emily Taylor's 21-second PB swim for the butterfly was just incredible.

Emily's three personal best times, including the amazing butterfly swim, earned her this week's Sawtell Swim Club's Swimmer of the Week award.

Training twice a week, Emily was a member of Toormina Primary School relay team at the last regional championships. Emily really enjoys the friendship with other club members as well as improving her times.

Playing piano and relaxing with art and craft projects keeps Emily occupied out of the pool but this girl is not to be crossed, as karate is her other preferred sport.

A special encouragement award to Luke Zerbe who also achieved three PB swims, while his big sister Amanda broke the 10 years 100m backstroke record in a time of 1:26.69, the record previously set by Melissa Healy in 2005.
