Players prepare for big season

WOOLGOOLGA Netball Association is busily taking registrations for what should be another big year of netball action.

“The great thing about playing netball at Woopi is that you will play at Woopi at the same time every week and after paying the initial registration fee and purchase of uniform there are no additional costs involved,” association president Sandy Thorpe said.

“We aim to make the game fun for all players and you will learn many new skills, make new friends and learn the important values that being part of a team teaches.

“We also provide rep opportunities for players wishing to take their netball to the next level.”

The Woolgoolga competition caters for all players aged from seven to senior age.

The Net-Set-Go program for seven to nine-year-olds is a fantastic introduction to netball and great value at $60 for the season.

For this one-off fee every youngster receives a backpack of goodies including a netball, diary, apron, hair clips and growth chart.

For further information about playing at Woolgoolga for the season phone Ms Thorpe on 6656 2474 or visit the website at www.woopinetball.com.
