The Symphony of Australia is coming to the Coffs Coast and promises a remarkable, intriguing and distinctive concert event that will blow audiences away and enlighten them to a world of musical appreciation.
Celebrating the history, the struggle of early pioneers, the rugged beauty, and the bush romantics of our country, this event that will evoke proud emotions and provide the audience with an extraordinary concert experience.
Classic Australian poetry from the likes of Banjo Paterson, Henry Lawson and Dorothea Mackellar will be brought to life in song and talent usually found on the international stage including renowned composer, conductor and vocalist Gavin Lockley, and opera greats Jose Carbo and Renae Martin.
A select orchestra and choir from the Australian Institute of Music will all bring this event to life.
The outdoor concert event will take place on June 6 at Coffs Harbour Showground.
Gates open from 2pm with great local talent, and then the main act from 5pm starting off with some classic opera favourites and then the Symphony of Australia performance.
