Party on for hospital

THE Bellinger Valley’s health professionals have thrown their support behind the High Tea for the Hospital fundraiser.

Already 18 of them have donated a raft of items for the silent auction which will accompany the elegant garden party set down for Sunday April 18.

The silent auction will be held to the sweet sounds of a string trio and while tea tastings, a fashion parade and sumptuous finger food are provided.

Money raised will go to the Bellinger Health Action Group to fund its campaign to stop the downgrading of the local hospital and for urgent repairs and improvements of hospital infrastructure.

Tickets at $50 each are limited and can be purchased from Emporium Bellingen, Paris Skye salon and spa, and the Ave Restaurant in the Old Church. The location of the garden will be revealed on the tickets.
