Parents thank Rocky Big W for help after baby has seizures

TWO very thankful parents have taken to Facebook to thank Big W Rockhampton staff, after their 13-month-old baby had seizures in-store on Friday.

"Jules N Sarah" posted on the Big W company page yesterday.

"Biggest shout out ot the staff at Big W Rockhampton! While we were in the store yesterday afternoon, my 13 month old had multiple seizures," they said.

"My friend was on the phone to the ambulance, a passer by who was a nurse helped (me) greatly with my 13 month old.

"Meanwhile, Big W staff put staff at both entrances, ready to guide the ambulance in.

"But what meant the most to me was how they looked after my 3 year old."

The parents said staff kept her child distracted with a toy and lollipop.

"May seem like a small gesture, but to me it absolutely blessed this Mummy's heart."

Jules N Sarah said Big W staff had even called them to check on how their child was going, and sent them flowers.

The child is now doing "fantastically".
