Palmer PA to give evidence on fugitive nephew

CLIVE Palmer's personal assistant will be grilled in the Federal Court today over emails she exchanged with her boss's fugitive nephew to book him on yet another luxury cruise.

The taxpayer-funded liquidators of Queensland Nickel have subpoenaed Sarah Mole for questioning after an email trail emerged last month between her and the company's globetrotting former director, Clive Mensink.

Mr Mensink has been on multiple cruises through Europe and South America during his 15 months abroad, but claimed he was too depressed to front a public examination into QN after it collapsed last year with $300 million in debts and more than 800 job losses.

Two warrants were issued for his arrest in late March - the same month court documents allege he forwarded an email from a US-based travel agent to Ms Mole asking her to "take over" plans for another cruise.
