Paddy's rest area gets a facelift

MOTORISTS travelling along the Pacific Hwy will now benefit from new amenities that have opened at Paddy's rest area at Eungai Creek.

Member for Oxley Andrew Stoner said the upgraded amenities between Eungai Rail and Warrell Creek will benefit the more than 11,000 motorists that use this section of the Pacific Hwy daily.

"The NSW Government allocated $235,000 for the installation of the new amenities for the popular rest area," Mr Stoner said.

"The important project has provided a new and more modern amenities block, complete with solar powered lighting and new footpaths."

"Paddy's Rest is a particularly popular rest area for motorists and the older facilities were struggling to cope with increasing use."
