Dirty Creek intersection to close for Pacific Hwy works

CHANGED traffic conditions will be in place for around one year at Dirty Creek as part of the Woolgoolga to Ballina Pacific Hwy upgrade.

The intersection of the Pacific Highway and Range Road will be temporarily closed with a temporary intersection opened at the northern end of the local access road.

Traffic on the highway will be moved onto the future service road and southbound off-ramp.

The traffic diversion will allow work to proceed on the interchange and the new highway in this area.

Preparation work will take place between 6pm and 7am tomorrow and reduced speed limits of 60kmh and 40kmh will be in place.

Electronic message signs will be used on the highway to advise motorists of the changed traffic arrangements.

During this time, Ryans Bus Service will pick up school students in the morning at the new temporary intersection of the highway and the local access road.

For their afternoon service, buses will continue to drop students off at the existing bus shelter on Range Rd.

There swill be no change to the Sahdra Bus Service.
