UPDATE 5.15pm

At Urunga - southbound queue off 6.4km adding 22 minutes

At Macksville - northbound traffic flowing freely with no delays but southbound queue is 7.6km and adding 20 minutes

All other centres almost clear

 

UPDATE 4pm

At Urunga - southbound queue of 8km adding 35 minutes

At Macksville - northbound queue of 6.8km adding 20 minutes but 25km southbound queue adding 70 minutes

Delays at Ewingsdale and Woodburn (north) and Hexham (south)

 

UPDATE 3pm

At Urunga - southbound queue of 8km adding 35 minutes

At Macksville - northbound queue of 9.7km adding 37 minutes with 19km southbound queue adding 75 minutes

At Urunga - southbound 8km queue adding 35 minutes

At Macksville - northbound queue of 9.7km adding 37km but southbound queue is now 22km and adding 80 minutes to travel time - take severe caution and follow traffic instructions

Delays continue at Ewingsdale and Woodburn (north) and Raymond Terrace and Hexham (south)

At Urunga - southbound traffic queued for 6.3km adding 40 minutes to travel times

At Macksville - northbound traffic is queued for 9.7km adding 37 minutes to travel times with 15km southbound queue adding one hour

Major delays at Ewingsdale and Woodburn (north) and Raymond Terrace and Hexham (south)

 

UPDATE 12.10pm

At Macksville - northbound traffic is queued 6.5km adding 20 minutes to travel time while southbound traffic is backed up 13km adding 20 minutes to travel times.

Increasing build-up at Ewingsdale and Woodburn (north) and Hexham to the M1 (south)

 

HOLIDAY traffic has built up on the Pacific Highway and is causing delays in the region.

At Macksville - northbound traffic is queued 3.3km adding 10 minutes to travel times while southbound traffic is backed up 4km adding 10 minutes to travel times.

Delays are being experienced at Ewingsdale and Woodburn (north) and Hexham (south).

Motorists are reminded to plan their journey, allow additional travel time and expect delays.
