Update 5pm

Significant delays remain on the Pacific Highway at Sancrox (near Port Macquarie) with a 15km northbound queue adding 60 minutes to travel times.

Traffic is still banked up for an estimated 10km in both directions at Kundabung south of Kempsey.

At Macksville the northbound queue remains 12km long adding 40 minutes additional travel time but southbound traffic is flowing normally.

Delays continue at Ewingsdale and Woodburn.

At Macksville - 10km northbound queue adding 40 minutes travel time but southbound queue has eased

At Kempsey - Kundabung has 10km queues in both directions

At Port Macquarie - Sancrox has 15km northbound queue adding 60 minutes travel time

Delays easing at Hexham Bridge but lengthy delays remain at Woodburn and Ewingsdale

At Macksville - 10km northbound queue adding 40 minutes travel time and 4.5km southbound queue adding 20 minutes

At Kempsey - Kundabung has 10km queues in both directions

At Port Macquarie - Sancrox has 15km northbound queue adding 60 minutes travel time

At Macksville - 4.5km southbound queue adding 20 minutes travel time and 12km northbound queue adding 50 minutes

At Kempsey - Kundabung has 10km queues in both directions

At Port Macquarie -  Sancrox has 15km northbound queue adding 60 minutes travel time

There are significant delays at Woodburn and Hexham Bridge

 

Update 1pm

At Macksville - 12km northbound queue adding 50 minutes travel time and 5km southbound queue adding 20 minutes travel time.

At Port Macquarie - 7km northbound queue approaching Sancrox

 

PACIFIC Highway traffic jams and heavy rain have combined to create substantial delays for motorists.

At 11.50am, Macksville northbound traffic is queued back 12km adding an hour to travel time.

Macksville southbound is queued back 4km adding 10 minutes to travel time.

There are also significant delays at Hexham, Ewingsdale southbound and Woodburn in both directions.
