Pacific Highway lanes reopen after 4WD, trailer crash

UPDATE 9.45am: LIVE Traffic NSW have reported that all lanes are now open on the Pacific Highway at Pimlico after 4WD and trailer crash.

Live Traffic NSW said lanes on the highway may close later to finish the recovery.

 

UPDATE 9.05am: SOUTHBOUND traffic is affected but able to get past a single vehicle crash on the Pacific Highway near Pimlico.

A spokesperson from the Transport Management Centre said it appeared a 4WD towing a trailer or caravan had jack-knifed.

Fortunately no one was injured.

Police and NSW Transport officers were on scene.

The spokesperson advised there may be intermittent traffic closures while items are salvaged from the crash.

 

TUESDAY 8.26am: A CRASH involving a 4WD and a trailer is causing disruption to traffic near Ballina.

Live Traffic NSW is reporting that southbound traffic on the Pacific Highway at Pimlico is affected by the crash.

Emergency services are on scene.

At this stage it is not known how many vehicles are involved or what injuries there may be.
