IT WAS close, but no cigar after Sebastian Ogier missed out on taking out the World Championship at this years Australian Rally, by just one championship point.

It will be a case of bitter sweet for the Frenchman and his navigator Julian Ingassia as they will be celebrating long into the night after wining the Australian Rally.

Thierry Neuville however will be happy with his performance after taking second place in the Power Stage at Bucca after posting a 14:47.7mins to hold of the Champion elect till Rally France in early next month.
