Ocean Noir hosts art exhibition

THERE is no better place to display art about the sea other than by the sea.

With an emphasis on seascapes and beachscapes, Ocean Noir restaurant at the Marina with panoramic ocean views, was an inspired choice for an exhibition by local artists Colleen Davies and Jenny Malloy.

“We’ve got a bit of everything – whales, beaches, sea turtles and lifesavers, all the wonderful things about life on the Coffs Coast,” Colleen said. “So it makes sense to have the exhibition by the sea.”

Cocktails and canapes would be served in the foyer of the restaurant this Friday from 5.30pm to 6.30pm and the exhibition would continue until December 17.

“Jenny and I will be there this Friday and are looking forward to meeting everyone and we would like to thank the team at Ocean Noir for supporting local art.”
