NSW Nationals name final three for Oxley preselection ballot
NSW NATIONALS State Director Ben Franklin has named the three candidates who will contest preselection to stand for the seat of Oxley at the next state election.
Current MLC Melinda Pavey, Kempsey solicitor Patrick Conaghan and Port Macquarie-Hastings Councillor Adam Roberts, will be the subject of a member's vote at Macksville on December 13.
The preselection follows the recent announcement by Deputy Premier Andrew Stoner that he will retire at the March 28 state election.
Mr Stoner has held the seat of Oxley since 1999 and has served as Leader of the NSW Nationals for over a decade.
"All three candidates have substantial experience and a strong history of community involvement and service," Mr Franklin said.
"All have an understanding of what it will take to continue Andrew Stoner's excellent record."
