NRL trial tickets on sale Tuesday

THE NRL trial match between South Sydney and Penrith is only 37 days away and tickets for the big event are going on sale this Tuesday.

The Rabbitohs and Panthers game will kick off at 7.00pm on Saturday, February 14, at the BCU International Stadium. Gates will open at 4pm and there will be a local Group 2 Sevens match at 5pm, prior to the main event.

The prices released by Coffs Harbour City Council yesterday have proven that the voice of the average footy fan has been listened to as a ticket to the outer part of the ground for this match is actually cheaper than it was two years ago when the Gold Coast Titans faced the Melbourne Storm at the Stadium.

“Judging by the enthusiastic welcome the Rabbitohs received from the community when they came here for their first training camp before Christmas, I'm sure there will be a lot of keen fans out there eager to get tickets to this first pre-season game,” Coffs Harbour mayor, Councillor Keith Rhoades said.

The Rabbitohs second training camp will be held at Camp Rabbitoh at Novotel Pacific Bay in the run-up to the Panthers game and will also include open training sessions to which the public will be invited, as well as opportunities to meet the players.
