Noosa Festival of Surfing - Day 2

TOP seeds and reigning champions made the most of favourable conditions at the Global Surf Industries Noosa Festival of Surfing on Monday.

Top seed in the men’s draw, France’s Antoine Delpero, won through to the quarter finals after a hard-fought victory in his round-three heat.

American Christian Wach stole the show however, notching up the first perfect 10 of the event, ending his heat with a near unbeatable 18.50.

Defending women’s champion the USA’s Jennifer Smith overcame a shaky start to her round three heat to comfortably advance.

While number one seed Chelsea Williams made it through to the semis despite coming second in her round three heat to Tweed Heads surfer Tessa Davidson.
