Non-paying drinker glasses officer

A BOOZY traveller has been arrested after allegedly smashing her wine glass in a police officer's face during a confrontation with bar staff at Sydney's International Airport.

Late Monday night, officers from the Rocks were called to a hotel in the International Terminal following reports of a woman refusing to pay for drinks.

When they arrived, a 31-year-woman allegedly became aggressive towards them and struck a male officer with her wine glass.

The injured officer was treated for cuts near his eye.

On Tuesday morning a woman was charged with two counts of assaulting police and dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception.
