No frills super a worry
THE Federal Government must end uncertainty over plans to ‘dumb down’ Australia’s superannuation industry, says Cowper MP Luke Hartsuyker.
He was commenting on claims the Cooper Review is set to recommend the establishment of no frills ‘base case’ superannuation funds for millions of Australians.
“These reports create tremendous uncertainty for the superannuation industry and Australian workers,” said Mr Hartsuyker, who is the Opposition’s spokesman for superannuation.
“What is being proposed here would completely reshape a vital sector of the Australian economy.”
