WITHOUT trees we would not exist. Not only are they beautiful, trees are essential to life. Trees and forests are closely linked with weather patterns and also the maintenance of a crucial balance in nature.

Trees play many valuable roles in the environment.

Planting native plants in your local area is especially important. Because native plants have adapted over a long period of time to the specific conditions in your area they provide the most suitable food and habitat for local native wildlife.

The clearing of native bushland for urban development or agriculture damages the local ecosystem and can have a serious effect on the biodiversity of plants and animals that depend upon each other for survival.
