New wheels help with pick ups

MONTHLY auction pick-ups are now a lot easier for the Rotarians with their new vehicle bought through fundraising efforts.

The Woolgoolga Rotary Club officially has a car of its own to assist with the increasing volume of donated goods from the public for their auction.

Generous donations came from Rotarians, non-Rotarians, the C.ex group, Mike Blewitt Ford, BCU, Woolgoolga Motors, Woolgoolga Art Group, and the Woolgoolga and Northern Beaches Chamber of Commerce.

The monthly auction is the club's major fundraiser and, with support from the community, continues to thrive each year.

"The Rotary auction has developed a unique and important role in this community,” a Woolgoolga Rotary spokesperson said.

The club has happily welcomed three new members, while the presidential role has gone to Pamela Fayle.
