New identity for community stalwart

AN ORGANISATION, which has served the local community well for the past 18 years has morphed into a new direction and identity.

Neighbour Aid has been re-badged Right at Home to reflect it's new focus on promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.

Funded under the Home and Community Care program Neighbour Aid commenced operation in 1996 and has been active in the provision of quality support services to frail older people and younger people with disabilities and their carers.

A highly motivated team has helped empower individuals to achieve their full potential through connections with others and fostering true community spirit.

Donna Kerr said the change to Right at Home was initiated to better reflect the work now being done in the community.

"It signifies our strong belief in the individual's Right to remain independent at Home with reliable, trusting support," Donna said.

"Changing our name and introducing our vibrant and colourful logo will assist in raising the profile of Right at Home in the wider community.
