New courses a hit at PCYC

PCYC manager Darryn Grant has called Saturday's open day a 'definite success'.

“We've got quite a few new enrolments,” Mr Grant said. There was a lot of interest in the judo and the circus arts courses.

“There was a good response to all new activities.”

Just over 200 people attended the open day at the PCYC to try the new activities the centre are holding this year. Also on the day 12 people became members of the PCYC.

Mr Grant has said an open day will definitely be held again, probably at the start of next year, but perhaps in the middle of this year.
