New call to dob in a bad driver

A NORTH Coast road safety group has called for a national hotline to dob in bad driving behaviour.

CoasttoCoast100 was set up last year to target aggressive driving behaviour by truckies, but now it's turning the spotlight on all drivers in a bid to stem carnage on our roads.

The organisation has released a discussion paper which is on the desk of each Federal, State and Territory road and transport minister.

The paper argues that a national hotline, a neighbourhood watch on wheels, would result in zero tolerance on dangerous driving behaviour almost immediately.
