Police reveal possible cause of Sunday's fatal crash

UPDATE

POLICE have yet to release the name of the man killed in a single vehicle car crash near Shark Creek at Tyndale at the weekend.

It is understood the man most likely had a medical incident before the crash.

A police media spokesperson said police were called to the scene at 12.20pm on Sunday.

The arrived to find a car, which had been heading south, crashed into a road barrier to the side of the road.

Investigating officers said they found the body of a male in the drivers seat of the car. He had died at the scene.

Investigating are continuing and police will prepare a report for the Coroner.

EARLIER: A RECOVERY team is on the way to the scene of a single vehicle car accident on the Pacific Highway at Tyndale near Shark Creek, to remove a deceased person from the vehicle.

There's no official confirmation yet, but it's believe a car left the road around 12.30pm Sunday (June 2) and ran into a roadside barrier.

It's thought the driver may have had a medical condition.
