Woolgoolga musical mixes it up

THROW in a bit of Shakespeare, a whole lot of the Fab Four and mix it up with a spice of home-grown humour and you have Woolgoolga High’s latest musical, Abbey Road.

Talented young musician, Pat Brown, is starring in the show that was written by the teachers for the students.

The home-grown extravaganza, set to the music of the Beatles, will be showing at Woolgoolga High tonight, Friday and Saturday evening.

Pat will lead the cast of 20 performers on stage that will be backed up by close to 20 other members in the band and back stage crew.

Teacher and director, Frank Dean, said the show had a little bit of everything with a whole lot of humour thrown in. Unable to categorise it he called it a romantic comedy musical spoof.
