Motorcyclist injured in crash with vehicle towing a boat

A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital for assessment after a crash on the Waterfall Way a short time ago. 

Emergency services were called to an accident scene on Dorrigo Mountain involving a motorcycle and a 4WD pulling a boat around 10am. 

Police and ambulance on scene have confirmed the 58-year-old rider suffered only minor injuries in the crash. 

He has been taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus for observation in a stable condition. 

It is understood the driver of the 4WD, a 35-year-old man, pulled out of a rest area when he saw the motorcycle come around a corner and the rider fall onto the roadway.
