Motorbike rider airlifted with serious injuries after crash

A MAN in his 40s is in a serious condition after a motorbike crash at Elimbah this morning.

Emergency services were called to the crash off Old Gympie Rd about 11.15am and treated the man at the scene for a head injury, a Queensland Ambulance Services spokeswoman said.

The RACQ LifeFlight rescue helicopter was tasked to the scene and airlifted the man to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
