Motivating on the world stage
IT STARTED in Woolgoolga and grew to be hugely successful in Sydney - now, Katie Pitsis is taking her motivational speaking worldwide.
Katie, a former Woolgoolga High School student and Coffs Harbour's 2011 Young Citizen of the Year, is continuing to empower teens with confidence and self esteem with her motivational workshops through Free Spirit Girl.
In some of her most exciting news to date, she has been scouted to travel to the UK and speak at a worldwide youth leadership camp run by the Knowledge to Action Foundation in London.
"I am so excited and honoured by this amazing opportunity," Ms Pitsis said.
"It's mind-blowing to think that in a few months I'll be on stage in London inspiring 200-plus teens from all over the world alongside some of the best speakers in the personal development industry.
"It's a dream come true."
The Knowledge to Action Foundation runs youth leadership seminars teaching practical wealth creation tools, rich thinking strategies and essential emotional development tools.
The summit is a powerful six-day development seminar aimed at 13-17 year olds, which includes days focused on health, wealth, relationships, leadership, entrepreneurship, contribution and purpose.
Katie will be back in town this month running the only two workshops locally this year.
