MTB: There was plenty of skill on display for the Central Queensland School Championships at the weekend.

Race leaders Kiah Dumigan and Alex Bogna were neck and neck, battling it out for the win on the last lap.

Racing ahead at full speed the pair caught a junior rider in the fast berms and politely passed ensuring, she was safe, putting the battle on hold momentarily. Mad Mountain Bike Club's Peter Lister said this incredible display of sportsmanship is what MTBA is all about.

In the end Kiah crossed the line first, just 30 seconds ahead of Alex.

The Championship was the last hit out before riders head to Nationals next weekend.
